Cape Cross Seal Colony: 1000's of them (80,000 plus) with pubs. It sounded alot like the farm during lambing. It smelt like month old fish. It was pretty amazing how close you could get.

The Cheetah farm was just that. Three enclosures with varying degrees of tame cheetah. Some wouldn't even come into sight until the vechiles left. The majority you could get close to as long as you had a big stick and a few were just like big pussy cats that liked a scratch behind the ears (still a little scary though as you knew that they could tear you to shreds if they wanted to).

The Himba village was interesting for the wrong reasons. It was basically on a ladies farm and the Himba's were hers. She charged admission and spoke of them as if they were cattle. I imagine the Himba's treated it as a half way house, just visiting to from northwest Namibia to sell curios to tourists, get medical treatment and other supplies.
